Speaking Before Legislative Committees

At CHILD USAdvocacy, we submit testimony and speak before legislative committees all over the country in an effort to educate lawmakers. We use science and evidence-based facts. Using medical, psychological, and social science data to support the need for specific common-sense legislation.

Lobbying Legislative Leaders & Drafting Child Protection Legislation

CHILD USAdvocacy works with local advocates and groups on the ground in all 50 states to effectively educate and persuade legislative leaders to sponsor and pass common-sense child protection and victim-friendly legislation. We assist with drafting and editing child protection legislation, and work to educate legislative leaders on sound public policy and the evidence-based social science data that supports specific child protection legislative initiatives.

Educating the Public via Op-Eds

CHILD USAdvocacy writes and submits editorials in local, state, and national media to appear online and in print to offer a strong, informed, and focused opinion on important topics related to child protection and justice for victims.

CHILD USAdvocacy appears at press conferences to put pressure on legislators, educate the public, and utilize the power of the press to advance child protection and victim’s rights legislation.
